How to find approximate square footage for a lot in Charlotte County

Looking for dimensions? Use the ‘Measure’ tool in the map application toolbar to get an approximation.

1. Go to www.ccgis.com
2. Click ‘Enter Mapping Site’ (show me)
3. Navigate to the lot (show me)
4. Set ‘Lots’ as the active layer (show me)
5. Select the black ‘Identify’ tool (show me)
6. Click on the lot (BE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR POP-UP BLOCKER OFF!)
7. Click the ‘Area Information’ link in the pop-up window (show me)
8. The square footage given is only an approximation and cannot be used for ANY conclusive purpose

Click ‘Enter Mapping Site’.

Navigate to the lot using either the magnify/pan tools on the left, or the search tools at the bottom.

The lot may be, but does not have to be selected.

Set ‘Lots’ as the active layer in the list on the right. You will probably have to scroll down.

Click on the black ‘Identify’ tool on the left side.

Click the ‘Area Information’ link in the pop-up window. If you have a pop-up blocker on you probably won’t get this window until you turn it off and try again.
